I am grateful for so many things in my life, and in my adult life you are right there. Every time.

I think I started as your patient in my mid 20s… maybe 26? so that would be 2004 or 2005. I remember at that time feeling so ungrounded and vulnerable. My treatments with you during that time were focused on energy building, fortifying.

I struggled with infertility for over a year before I realized I needed to get ‘back to basics’, which in my life means get back in to see Leslie. Your treatments and herbs assisted and I soon was pregnant with my first son. Axel came quickly behind Gunnar. And you helped me with a home visit, you helped me through breast feeding.

Those years are very foggy for me. At times I was able to keep a regular schedule with you, and at times I was not. But there was never any shame associated with getting off track. I would remember to get ‘back to basics,’ and there you were. During this time I became more connected to noticing changes in my body, where energy flowed easily and where it became blocked. We discussed meditation, mindfulness and techniques to discover what brought me joy and peace.

Taking your seasonal workshops were so empowering and energizing. I became more and more in tune with nature and the seasons. I learned to listen to nature when tending to my body and my needs. This was so beneficial during times when my monthly cycle was difficult to manage too.

You introduced me to my therapist and to al anon – both of which have brought me strength to stand in my truth.

All of these gifts have made me a better mother to these two boys. I am the mother they need, and they are the greatest teachers I will ever have.

You are my life coach, my guru, my spiritual leader, my teacher, my friend. Thank you so much. For guiding me to find my peace, joy and truth.
